Suspect Sepsis. Save Lives.SM is a Colorado-focused awareness campaign led by Sepsis Alliance, a nonprofit advocacy group dedicated to saving lives by raising awareness of sepsis as a medical emergency. The campaign is supported by MSC, a Colorado company that helps hospitals improve patient safety.

What is sepsis? Sepsis is a medical emergency that can strike anyone. It is a life-threatening condition that arises when the body’s response to infection injures its own tissues and organs.

Learn how to identify sepsis, what to tell medical providers and how to respond to this fast-progressing condition.
